Impact of inflammatory bowel disease on perinatal outcomes – Case report

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a term describing Crohn ’s disease and Colitis ulcerosa, characterized by inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract affecting more than 1,5 million women in US. The aim of this study is to present a clinical case of pregnant woman, who developed a severe phase of IBD and its influence of perinatal outcomes.
