Effects of peripheral artery disease on long-term outcomes after percutaneous coronary intervention versus coronary artery bypass grafting in patients with severe coronary artery disease

CONCLUSIONS: The long-term mortality after coronary revascularization was significantly higher in severe CAD patients with PAD than those without PAD. There was a higher mortality risk of PCI relative to CABG in patients with and without PAD without interaction, which was mainly driven by excess non-cardiovascular deaths.PMID:38135147 | DOI:10.1016/j.jjcc.2023.12.004
