Risk of New Retinal Vascular Occlusion After mRNA COVID-19 Vaccination Within Aggregated Electronic Health Record Data
To the Editor We read with great interest a recent study by Dorney et al, concluding that there was no association between messenger RNA (mRNA) COVID-19 vaccination and newly diagnosed retinal vascular occlusion (RVO) with similar rates compared with those following influenza and tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) vaccines. However, we have several methodological concerns and suggestions.
