Insights into the December 2023 Issue of the JOE

To date, no study has evaluated the postoperative pain of calcium hydroxide sealer and calcium silicate root canal sealers. Thus, the authors of this investigation (1) compared postoperative pain of mandibular molars with symptomatic apical periodontitis using EndoSeal MTA (Maruchi, Wonju, Korea) against Sealapex (Kerr, Bioggio, Switzerland) (1). Sixty patients were randomly enrolled into two groups. Using non-parametric analysis ,the authors reported no statistical significant difference between the groups.
