CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest a lower incidence and clinical relevance of haematological toxicity in augmented renal clearance patients. Thrombocytopenia was the major event in both populations. This might be related to a lower exposure to the drug due to the higher clearance and likely lower therapeutic efficiency.
