Effects of sparrow-pecking moxibustion on the temperature and blood flow perfusion of moxibustion point area and uterus and serum AVP, PGF2 α, and TXB2 in rats with dysmenorrhea

ConclusionSparrow-pecking moxibustion had a remarkable analgesic effect on the rats with PD due to cold-dampness stagnation, and the mechanism may be related to the increased temperature and blood perfusion of the moxibustion point area and uterus, as well as the decreased serum PGF2 α, AVP, and TXB2 levels.
