Pyroptosis is a new type of programmed cell death that has a strong proinflammatory effect. The present study investigated the dynamic changes of pyroptosis-related molecules and the effect of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) on pyroptosis following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion (I/R).
