The composition of the maternal breastmilk microbiota influences the microbiota network structure during early infancy
CONCLUSION: Our work suggests that maternal metabolic status plays a crucial role in Staphylococcus/Streptococcus competition in BM, which in turn can impact the development of the infant microbiota. Our microbiota co-occurrence network analysis might serve as a helpful bioinformatic tool to monitor microbiota maturation during early infancy.PMID:37544808 | DOI:10.1016/j.jmii.2023.07.005
