Differential effects on renal function and glucose metabolism of renal dependent bezafibrate and non-renal dependent pemafibrate in patients with hypertriglyceridemia
CONCLUSION: Our findings indicate that switching from bezafibrate to pemafibrate produces a significant decrease in serum creatinine and increases in eGFR and hemoglobin A1c in patients with hypertriglyceridemia, suggesting that the effects on renal function and glucose metabolism differ among fibrates.PMID:37548458 | DOI:10.5414/CP204408
