Comment on “Effect of vessels that encapsulate tumor clusters (VETC) and different stages of hepatocellular carcinoma after hepatectomy”
Wang et al. [1] recently conducted a study investigating the impact of vessels that encapsulate tumor clusters (VETC) on the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients at different stages following hepatectomy. Their research provides valuable insights into the prognostic implications of VETC in HCC and enhances our understanding of disease management. The authors comprehensively analyzed the association between VETC and various clinicopathological factors, disease recurrence, and overall survival rates in a cohort of HCC patients who underwent hepatectomy.
