ConclusionCompared to oxytocin, carbetocin showed an elevated reporting for adverse hypertension, hypotension, and tachycardia in pharmacovigilance data. Clinicians should be aware of their patients' individual susceptibility and the possibility of haemodynamic deterioration until causal inferences are possible.
