Prognostic value of proteinuria monitoring in anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis

ConclusionThe presence of proteinuria at 6  months after induction therapy and low renal function was significantly associated with a higher risk of stage 4/5 CKD in patients with AAV. Monitoring for proteinuria after induction therapy may help predict poor renal outcomes in patients with AAV.
