How does Arg16Gly polymorphism affect pulmonary function and treatment response in COPD patients?
Conclusions: Arg16Gly polymorphism of ADRB2 gene is affecting PFT in COPD patients. Arg16Arg is linked tolower FVC at all visitsy. Treatment response to LAMA/LABA combination was comparable in all groups, but mathematic model revealed different pattern in Arg16Arg genotype, which indicate tachyphylaxis of ADRB2 receptor.
