ConclusionWhen prescribing ziprasidone to young people with bipolar disorder, clinicians should consider the potential for adverse skin reactions. It may be useful to assay levels of inflammatory markers during ziprasidone therapy and adjust the dose if necessary in order to ensure treatment compliance.
