A retrospective multi-institutional survey of characteristics of surgically treated spontaneous hemopneumothorax patients
ConclusionIn SHP patients, a reduction in the waiting time before the operation significantly contributed to not the avoidance of transfusion but a reduction in total hospitalization time. In addition, transfusion was performed depending on the volume of blood loss.
