Features of inhalant allergy on nasal endoscopy: a systematic review and meta-analysis

CONCLUSIONS: Diffuse or polypoid oedema of the middle turbinate or watery secretions seen on nasal endoscopy can be a useful adjunct in the identification and diagnosis of inhalant allergy. These clinical features should be part of the diagnostic workup for patients that includes a clinical history and surrogate markers of allergic sensitisation from the skin and serum.PMID:35726828 | DOI:10.4193/Rhin22.066
