Merit-Based Travel Awards for SLEEP 2015
The Sleep Research Society recognizes trainee abstracts of exceptional quality by presenting trainees with Merit-Based Travel Awards.  Winners will receive a financial award, intended to alleviate the cost of travel to the annual SLEEP 2015 meeting.  Trainees may also have the opportunity to gain exposure and experience by giving a short oral presentation of their work in a forum with fellow trainees and senior faculty. The SRS Foundation recognizes the challenges of transitioning from post-doctoral training to independent research funding. The goal of these mentored awards is to invest in promising early career researchers and assist with their transition into independence as junior investigators.
