Considering MD/JD dual degree? Any advice?
by PreMedVirgo (Posted Sat May 21, 2016 1:02 pm)Hello there! I'm new to this forum, but I've read many posts on here. I'll be a college junior starting this fall, and I've been thinking about my future in medicine. My dream career, I believe, is to be a forensic pathologist. I see myself wanting to possibly do work for the FBI one day and work primarily as a medical examiner or a pathologist in a hospital morgue. I want to work on murder cases, rape/molestation, child abuse, etc. I was wondering how beneficial a MD/JD joint degree would be considering those career goals. Thanks! (Source: Med Student Guide)

Are sexual crimes common as a physician in the military?
I aspire to become a military physician. However as a woman going into military, I'm greatly worried about going getting raped/sexually assaulted in the line of training and work. The stats of women getting sexually assaulted and/or raped and later getting retaliated in the military are horrifying. This concern is the main pressing issue that holds me back from going into military medicine. Does anyone know if sexual crimes are common within military residents and physicians, or have... ASCP advocating for Far Left Wing Political Causes in an Election Year?!
Im lost here. OF ALL THE THINGS facing the modern practice of Pathology, the ASCP decides to tackle what? Declining reimbursements? Unfair contracting by major insurance payors? Consolidation of practices by large hospital systems? Decreased partnership level tracts for new hires? Overtraining? NO. None of the above. They have decided it is better to try to get Bernie Sanders elected president using our money. If I could get pay my membership fees to a homeless man to prison rape...
