Trump, Doctors and Taxes.
Is this really possible? The biggest impact might be if you receive a 1099 and operate under a corporation (LLC, S-corp, C-corp). Your corporate tax rate may be lowered from 35% to 15%. All business profit, even income earned by a physician from an S corporation, will be subject to the 15% rate. http://www.hcplive.com/physicians-m...-presidency-could-affect-doctors-financially/... Sugamma-f'n-dex
So far very impressed with this stuff. Amazing how quickly you can go from 1/4 to 4/4. Ear case. 45 minutes. 40 mg of Roc. SV mode at end of the case with 1/4 and 70 cc TV. 200mg of Sugamma-f'n-dex. 30 seconds later 650 TV's. Impressive. Is everyone following 4mg/kg dosing? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Spinal & ACB in pre-op area.
Say you have a super star surgeon that consistently does 45 minute TKAs and he is on board with Spinals + ACB + sedation. Cut is at 7:15. Turnovers are decently quick (15-20) and you do 5-8 TKAs on that particular day. You have the staff to get things ready on your next patient before you see them. Maybe you call them the night before and let them know what to expect the day of surgery so you can move things along quickly. Pre-op spinal +ACB or just do it in the room?
