Morphological characteristics of brain aneurysms among age groups
CONCLUSIONS: Younger patients have small unruptured and ruptured aneurysms, and ruptured aneurysms are mostly located in the MCA and ACOM. Older patients have larger and more irregular unruptured aneurysms, and ruptured aneurysms are mostly located in the PCOM and ACOM. An irregular morphology increases the risk of rupture in all age groups.PMID:37715650 | DOI:10.1177/15910199231201520

Safety and efficacy of the fourth-generation Acandis Acclino flex plus stent for the treatment of complex intracranial aneurysms
CONCLUSIONS: Given the complexity of the aneurysms, the use of the Acclino flex plus was feasible and associated with a favourable safety and efficacy profile. Further studies are needed to evaluate Acclino flex plus in other aneurysm subsets and to define its role in endovascular aneurysm treatment.PMID:37671458 | DOI:10.1177/15910199231199131

Single center experience using 3  mm trevo stent retrievers in medium vessel occlusion thrombectomy
CONCLUSIONS: Our results suggest that endovascular mechanical thrombectomy using the 3 mm Trevo NXT is a safe and effective treatment option for medium vessel occlusion. The utility of novel stent retrievers in the treatment of medium vessel occlusion should be further explored in future multicenter studies.PMID:37671457 | DOI:10.1177/15910199231199880

ASPECTS evolution after endovascular successful reperfusion in the early and extended time window
CONCLUSION: ASPECTS evolution is a strong predictor of functional and safety outcomes after successful endovascular therapy. Higher number of EVT attempts and incomplete reperfusion are associated with ASPECTS evolution at day 1.PMID:37671452 | DOI:10.1177/15910199231196953

Machine learning based prediction of length of stay in acute ischaemic stroke of the anterior circulation in patients treated with thrombectomy
CONCLUSION: Machine learning has potential use to estimate the length of stay of patients with acute ischaemic stroke that were treated with thrombectomy.PMID:37671446 | DOI:10.1177/15910199231197615

Virtual reality simulation training in stroke thrombectomy centers with limited patient volume-Simulator performance and patient outcome
CONCLUSION: Performance on the virtual reality simulator improved after training. Virtual reality simulation may improve the learning curve for interventional radiologists in limited-volume thrombectomy centers. No correlation alleged, the clinical data indicates that the centers studied performed thrombectomy in accordance with guideline-recommended standards.PMID:37670718 | DOI:10.1177/15910199231198275
