Stem cell therapy in ischemic stroke: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
Conclusion: Our meta-analysis provides no clinically important evidence for efficacy of stem cells in reducing neurological deficit compared to control group. Well-designed large randomized controlled trials are required to provide more information on the efficacy of stem cell therapy in patients with IS.
