Long-Term Single Centre Outcomes of Patients with Chronic Renal Dialysis Undergoing Cardiac Surgery.
CONCLUSIONS: Cardiac surgery in DD-CRF patients is associated with high morbidity and mortality. Interestingly, overall mortality was mainly none cardiac-related, where elderly patients or those presented with CHF had the worst life expectancy. In ‐hospital outcomes of transcatheter versus surgical aortic valve replacement in non‐teaching hospitals
ConclusionsTAVR conferred similar in ‐hospital mortality and major peri‐procedural complications compared with SAVR in non‐teaching hospitals. For those with limited access to teaching hospitals, non‐teaching hospitals appear to be a reasonable option for candidates of aortic valve replacement for severe aortic stenosis.
