The structured ambulatory post-stroke care program for outpatient aftercare in patients with ischaemic stroke in Germany (SANO): an open-label, cluster-randomised controlled trial
This study was registered with the German Clinical Trials Register, DRKS00015322.FINDINGS: Between Jan 1, 2019 and Dec 22, 2020, 36 clusters were assessed for eligibility, of which 30 were randomly assigned to the intervention group (n=15 clusters) or control group (n=15 clusters). No clusters dropped out of the study. 1203 (86%) of 1396 enrolled patients in the intervention group and 1283 (92%) of 1395 enrolled patients in the control group were included in the mITT population. Mortality and Morbidity Effects of Long-Term Exposure to Low-Level PM 2.5 , BC, NO 2 , and O 3 : An Analysis of European Cohorts in the ELAPSE Project
CONCLUSIONS: Long-term exposure to PM2.5, NO2, and BC was positively associated with natural-cause and cause-specific mortality in the pooled cohort and the administrative cohorts. Associations were found well below current limit values and guidelines for PM2.5 and NO2. Associations tended to be supralinear, with steeper slopes at low exposures with no indication of a threshold. Deep Lipidomics in Human Plasma - Cardiometabolic Disease Risk and Effect of Dietary Fat Modulation
Conclusions: We identified several lipids associated with cardiometabolic disease risk. Conclusion: In this large &ldquo;real world&rdquo; data, prognosis after STEMI in cancer patients was markedly reduced but differed widely between cancer types. Of note, no withholding of interventional treatments in cancer patients could be observed.

Polyglobulia in patients with hemangioblastomas is related to tumor size but not to serum erythropoietin
ConclusionsWe therefore conclude that in contrast to previous case reports and interpretations, our data show no correlation between polyglobulia and EPO levels or associated cysts in patients with hemangioblastomas. In fact, it is the size of the solid tumor that correlates with polyglobulia.The study was retrospectively registered in the German Clinical Trial Registry on 10 July 2014; Trial registration:DRKS00006310.
