Stroke patterns and outcomes during the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic: a cross-sectional study
CONCLUSION: The factors that cause the delayed transfer to the hospital and onset of treatment should be addressed. Patient counseling about the likely prognosis can be done after evaluating the probable outcome based on the NIHSS score and median duration of hospital stay. Warfarin-induced isolated spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage: Rare case report
CONCLUSION: Warfarin is rarely associated with isolated subarachnoid hemorrhage. This case highlights a young male patient with spontaneous SAH after warfarin therapy for acute ischemic stroke. Successful use of therapeutic anticoagulation therapy in two patients with moderate stroke from the second day of onset: A case report and literature review
CONCLUSION: As a result of this case report, clinical improvement has not been associated with hemorrhagic sequelae of anticoagulant administration on the first day. Red cell distribution width: a novel predictive biomarker for stroke risk after transient ischaemic attack
CONCLUSIONS: The early determination of RDW is a promising, rapid, easy and inexpensive biomarker to predict the subsequent stroke in TIA patients, especially for IS.
