Factors associated with non-attendance at exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation
ConclusionsA distance greater than 16  km was associated with increased probability of non-attendance at exCR, as were smoking, a higher burden of comorbidities, and male sex. A better understanding of individual and structural factors can support the development of future rehabilitation services.

Hyperbaric oxygen in patients with ischemic stroke following cardiac surgery: a retrospective observational trial.
CONCLUSIONS: HBO2₂ therapy was associated with significant improvement in patients with acute neurological deficits due to ischemic stroke following cardiac surgery. Though this fact suggests gas embolism as the most likely cause of stroke in this collective, other underlying pathologies cannot be ruled out. Randomized studies are needed for further evaluation. Strength Training and the Risk of Type 2 Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease
Conclusions: These data support the inclusion of muscle-strengthening exercises in physical activity regimens for reduced risk of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease, independent of aerobic exercise. Further research is needed to determine the optimum dose and intensity of muscle-strengthening exercises.
