Conclusion The detrimental associations of poor sleep with all-cause and cause-specific mortality risks are exacerbated by low PA, suggesting likely synergistic effects. Our study supports the need to target both behaviours in research and clinical practice.

Modern Treatment of Asymptomatic Carotid Stenosis —The Importance of Both Medical Therapy and Carotid Endarterectomy
Each year there are approximately 700  000 new ischemic strokes in the US, and 10% to 15% of them are caused by thromboembolism from a previously asymptomatic carotid stenosis (ACS). Three large randomized clinical trials, published in the 1990s and early 2000s, have demonstrated a significant benefit of carotid endarterectomy (CEA) i n preventing stroke in patients with severe ACS compared with medical therapy alone. Stepper-Based Training Improves Monocyte–Platelet Aggregation and Thrombin Generation in Nonambulatory Hemiplegic Patients
Conclusions Stepper-based ET is feasible in nonambulatory hemiplegic patients and is effective in improving aerobic fitness. Moreover, it decreases heteroaggregation of monocytes with platelets, especially in monocyte subtypes 2 and 1. Thrombin generation was also attenuated. Hence, stepper-based ET may be incorporated in the rehabilitation of nonambulatory hemiplegic patients.

Effect of core stabilization exercises in addition to conventional therapy in improving trunk mobility, function, ambulation and quality of life in stroke patients: a randomized controlled trial
ConclusionThis study concluded that core stabilization training is better as compared to the conventional physical therapy treatment for improving trunk impairments, functional ambulation and quality of life among patients of stroke. The core stabilization training is also more effective in improving trunk mobility in sagittal plane. This study is registered in Iranian Registry of Clinical Trials IRCT20210614051578N1 and was approved by the local research ethics committee of Riphah International University.

Post-exercise hypotensive response in stroke patients following acute moderate or high intensity cycling session
CONCLUSIONS: Those results suggest that HIIT induce a systolic blood pressure reduction of greater magnitude than MICT immediately after cycling exercise among patients with prior ischemic stroke or TIA.
