Combined assessment of frailty and nutritional status can be a prognostic indicator after percutaneous coronary intervention
In conclusion, patients with both frailty and malnutrition had a higher risk of MACEs after PCI than patients with frailty or malnutrition. Post-PCI patients should be evaluated for combined frailty and malnutrition.

Prognostic significance of the controlling nutritional (CONUT) score in patients with acute coronary syndrome
ConclusionHigher CONUT scores were associated with unfavorable outcomes in patients with ACS. Malnutrition assessed by the CONUT score may provide valuable prognostic information in patients with ACS.

Impact of nutritional index on long-term outcomes of elderly patients with coronary artery disease: sub-analysis of the SHINANO 5  year registry
In this study, patients were categorized into TCBI quartile groups. The primary endpoints were the occurre nce of major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE), including all-cause death, stroke, and myocardial infarction at 5 year. The mean duration of follow up was 4.3 ± 1.7 years. The average patient age was 80.9 ± 4.3 years. MACCE was observed in 61 (40.9%) patients in the low est TCBI quartile group. Lipoprotein(a) levels are associated with coronary severity but not with outcomes in Chinese patients underwent percutaneous coronary intervention
ConclusionLp(a) is an independent predictor of the prevalence of more complex coronary artery lesions (SYNTAX score ≥ 23) in patients with PCI. In addition, our study has shown that Lp(a) has no relationship with long-term cardiovascular outcomes in Chinese patients with PCI.
