Cerebral infarct site and affected vascular territory as factors in breathing weakness in patients with subacute stroke.

Dysarthria as a predictor of dysphagia following stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: A comprehensive evaluation of dysphagia, aphasia, and dysarthria are important to improve clinical outcome following stroke. The identification of dysarthria as a predictor of dysphagia can help identify risk for dysphagia in stroke and assist in the therapeutic process of swallowing problems. Skeletal muscle changes in the first three months of stroke recovery: a systematic review
CONCLUSION: Muscle strength and thickness changes during the first 3 months after stroke in both the paretic and non-paretic side. Future studies should aim to understand "how" the stroke-induced muscle strength changes are achieved. Neural Tract Injuries Revealed by Diffusion Tensor Tractography in a Patient With Severe Heat Stroke
Neurologic sequelae of heat stroke are prevalent among patients with severe heat stroke who require admission to an intensive care unit. Radiologic diagnosis of the condition is challenging because not every patient with clinical deficits shows abnormalities in computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging. Predicting walking ability in hemiplegic patients with putaminal hemorrhage: an observational study in a rehabilitation hospital.
CONCLUSIONS: CT imaging at stroke onset can provide useful information when examining walking independence and indicate necessity for an orthosis at the time of discharge to the rehabilitation ward. Frontal dynamic activity as a predictor of cognitive dysfunction after pontine ischemia.
