Multidisciplinar Team Ability to Decrease Door-To-Needle Time in Acute Ischemic Stroke - A Single Center Saudi Experience (P6.053)
Conclusions: Implementation of modified stroke code process utilizing quality improvement paradigm of PDSA cycles have resulted in significant decrease in door-to-needle time for IV thrombolysis. Although, the target DTN of 60 minutes was not reached, the trend is favorable with improved outcomes. Getting the right prescription for rehabilitation after stroke
Clinicians working with stroke survivors believe that poststroke rehabilitation works, but the evidence base to convince a wider audience is lacking. There are several contributory factors for this.
