Feasibility of single session high-intensity interval training utilizing speed and active recovery to push beyond standard practice post-stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: These results demonstrate the feasibility of this single session HIT design and suggest that individuals following stroke are capable of prolonged training at speeds significantly faster than standard practice. Additionally, this training intensity elicited heart rate responses in the upper range of vigorous exercise. Future studies are needed to investigate a progressive HIT intervention applying this design and its effects on functional outcomes as well as cardiovascular fitness. Content Reporting in Post-Stroke Therapeutic Circuit-Class Exercise Programs in randomized control trials.
CONCLUSIONS: The results of this study indicate a lack of reporting from the 16 RCTs on post-stroke therapeutic circuit-class exercise programs. Cryotherapy reduces muscle hypertonia, but does not affect lower limb strength or gait kinematics post-stroke: a randomized controlled crossover study.

Audiovisual speech segmentation in post-stroke aphasia: a pilot study.
Conclusion: Our findings show that speech segmentation disorder may exist in PWA. This points to the importance of assessing and training speech segmentation after stroke. The effect of using Gait Exercise Assist Robot (GEAR) on gait pattern in stroke patients: a cross-sectional pilot study.

Dance-based exergaming for upper extremity rehabilitation and reducing fall-risk in community-dwelling individuals with chronic stroke. A preliminary study.

Therapeutic effect of AiWalker on balance and walking ability in patients with stroke: A pilot study.
CONCLUSION: The novel robot-assisted gait training system may elicit greater improvement of balance and walking ability in patients with stroke compared to conventional interventions. Effects of Inspiratory Muscle Training on Respiratory Muscle Strength, Trunk Control, Balance and Functional Capacity in Stroke Patients: A single-blinded randomized controlled study.
Conclusions: As a conclusion, the IMT, which was given in addition to the neurological physiotherapy and rehabilitation program to our patients, improved inspiratory muscle strength and trunk control. We believe that this result will raise awareness for physiotherapists working in the field of neurological rehabilitation about including respiratory muscle training in the rehabilitation program of stroke patients.
