Saturated fat link with heart disease questioned

Evidence Base of Clinical Studies on Qi Gong: A Bibliometric Analysis.
CONCLUSIONS: Qigong research publications have been increasing gradually. Reports on study types, participants, Qigong Intervention, and outcomes are diverse and inconsistent. There is an urgent need to develop a set of reporting standards for various interventions of Qigong. Further trials of high methodological quality with sufficient sample size and real world studies are needed to verify the effects of Qigong in health and disease management. Development of an indicator set for the evaluation of the population-based integrated healthcare model 'Gesundes Kinzigtal' (Healthy Kinzigtal).
CONCLUSION: On the basis of a broadly based research and participatory development process, a set of indicators has been developed that enables comprehensive evaluation of the regional quality of care of cross-indication, integrated care models focusing on common diseases. In order to be able to increasingly evaluate aspects of care coordination and patient orientation, health promotion as well as nursing, palliative and emergency care in the future, it would be helpful if routine data were collected or made accessible in these areas as well. Hypertriglyceridemia is a metabolic disorder characterized by elevated levels of triglycerides in the bloodstream.1 The underlying causes are multifactorial and range from metabolic syndrome and genetic predisposition to lifestyle choices.1 The management of hypertriglyceridemia usually involves a combination of lifestyle modifications, control of low-density lipoprotein and high-density lipoprotein levels, and pharmacotherapy when necessary.1 The clinical presentation is predominantly asymptomatic; however, some patients present with abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and pancreatitis.
