Determinants of Reverse Remodeling of the Left Atrium Following Transaortic Myectomy
Conclusions Left atrial volume decreases significantly following surgical relief of left ventricular outflow tract obstruction. Early changes likely reflect lower LA pressure due to gradient relief and abolishment of mitral regurgitation, and late reduction suggests continued reverse remodeling.

Clinical Leaflet Thrombosis in Transcatheter and Surgical Bioprosthetic Aortic Valves by Four-Dimensional Computed Tomography

Incidence and in-hospital Safety Outcomes of Patients undergoing Percutaneous Mitral Valve Edge-to-Edge Repair Using MitraClip ® - 5 year German national patient sample including 13,575 implants.
CONCLUSIONS: MitraClip® implantations increased markedly 5.4-fold between 2011 and 2015, with a constant in-hospital mortality and MACCE rate. Survival Following Myectomy for Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy-What Causes Late Mortality?
ConclusionsThis study, using two independent sources to verify vital status and cause of mortality, confirms that survival following septal myectomy is excellent. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy was identified as the primary cause of death in less than 20%, with mortality in most patients unrelated to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
