CONCLUSIONS: MIAVR through ministernotomy provides at least as good long-term survival as FSAVR. Nevertheless, it should be recommended for diabetic, poor mobility patients with pre-existing AF in order to reduce their high cerebrovascular risk and to limit the progression of HF. Transcatheter aortic valve replacement in aortic stenosis and cardiac amyloidosis: a systematic review and meta ‐analysis
ConclusionsTAVR is an effective and safe procedure in CA-AS patients, with a substantial survival benefit as compared with medical therapy, and a safety profile comparable with patients with AS alone except for a trend towards higher risk of permanent pacemaker implantation.

Sex differences of lipoprotein(a) levels and associated risk of morbidity and mortality by age: The Copenhagen General Population Study
CONCLUSIONS: Lipoprotein(a) levels increased modestly around age 50 selectively in women; however, risk of morbidity and mortality for high lipoprotein(a) was similar in women and men above age 50.
