Experimental investigation of nano metal oxide blended Eucalyptus bio fuel on common rail direct injected diesel engine
Publication date: Available online 4 February 2020Source: Materials Today: ProceedingsAuthor(s): N.S. Senthur, R. Karthikeyen, S. BalaMurugan, S. Divakara, M. EsakkirajaAbstractAn empirical study has been done using a mixture of aluminum oxide nanoparticles (ANPs) with Eucalyptus green fuel blend (EME20) in varied percentages to find out the impact of using it in a four stroke, single cylinder, common rail direct injection diesel engine. This research will detail about the experiments that have been conducted as well as the output of the investigation. The ANPs have been used in different proportions along with the Eucalyp...

Performance and Emission Characteristics of VCR CI Engine Fueled With Methyl Ester of Palm Kernel Oil and Eucalyptus Oil Blends
This study aims at complete replacement of conventional diesel fuel by biodiesel. In order to achieve that, palm kernel oil and eucalyptus oil blend has been chosen. Eucalyptus oil was blended with methyl ester of palm kernel oil in 5%, 10% and 15% by volume. Tests were conducted with diesel fuel and blends on a 4 stroke VCR diesel engine for comparative analysis with 220bar injection pressure and 19:1 compression ratio. All the test fuels were used in computerized 4 stroke single cylinder variable compression ratio engine at five different loads (0, 6, 12, 18 and 24Nm). Present investigation depicts the improved combustio...

The Four Pillars of Longevity and Well-Being
by guest blogger Pam Peeke, MD, MPH, FACP, best-selling author and expert on health, fitness, and nutrition When I began my undergraduate years at the University of California-Berkeley, I chose cellular biology as my premed major. Enthused as I was with each course, I felt something was missing.
