Readmissions in patients with Cerebral Cavernous Malformations (CCMs): a National Readmission Database (NRD) study
CONCLUSIONS: All identified comorbidities associated with increased risks of readmission contribute to vascular stress, suggesting its role in lesion pathogenesis. Conclusions: Acute ischemic stroke patients admitted in hospitals participating in a telestroke program had a more pronounced reduction in in-hospital mortality. However, telestroke coverage did not alter the effect of nighttime admission on in-hospital mortality.
