Associations Between Collateral Status and Thrombus Characteristics and Their Impact in Anterior Circulation Stroke Clinical Sciences
Conclusions—Patients with lower thrombus burden and higher thrombus perviousness scores had higher collateral score. The positive effect of thrombus perviousness on clinical outcome was only present in patients with moderate and high collateral scores.Clinical Trial Registration—URL: http://www.trialregister.nl. Factors Associated With Focal Computed Tomographic Perfusion Abnormalities in Supratentorial Transient Ischemic Attacks Clinical Sciences
Conclusions—Supratentorial TIAs are often associated with FPA in CTP, even after symptom resolution. FPAs are frequent in severe TIAs and those associated with cardioembolism or specific arterial pathologies. These findings can help clinicians in accurate diagnosis of TIA and its underlying mechanisms.

DWI-ASPECTS (Diffusion-Weighted Imaging-Alberta Stroke Program Early Computed Tomography Scores) and DWI-FLAIR (Diffusion-Weighted Imaging-Fluid Attenuated Inversion Recovery) Mismatch in Thrombectomy Candidates Brief Report
Conclusions—Agreement between clinicians assessing DWI-ASPECTS and DWI-FLAIR mismatch may not be sufficient to make repeatable clinical decisions in mechanical thrombectomy. The dichotomization of the DWI-ASPECTS (0–5 versus 0–6 or 0–6 versus 7–10) improved interrater and intrarater agreement, however, its relevance for patients selection for mechanical thrombectomy needs to be validated in a randomized trial.

Conclusions—The island sign is a reliable CT imaging marker that independently predicts hematoma expansion and poor outcome in patients with ICH. The noncontrast CT island sign may serve as a potential marker for therapeutic intervention.

Predictive Value of Computed Tomography Angiography-Determined Occlusion Type in Stent Retriever Thrombectomy Clinical Sciences
Conclusions—CTA-determined branching-site occlusion was significantly associated with SR success. Furthermore, among the 3 rapidly- and readily-assessable pre-procedural findings, CTA-determined branching-site occlusion had the greatest predictive power for SR success.

Association of Computed Tomography Ischemic Lesion Location With Functional Outcome in Acute Large Vessel Occlusion Ischemic Stroke Clinical Sciences
Conclusions—The association between follow-up noncontrast computed tomography ILV and outcome as assessed with mRS 3 months after stroke is strengthened by accounting for the mRS relevance of the affected brain areas. Future prediction models should account for the ILV in brain areas of high mRS relevance.
