E-040 Factors associated with failed mechanical thrombectomy in acute ischemic stroke
ConclusionFailed MT was encountered in approximately 12% of cases. The most common location of failed MT was intracranial and this was predominantly due to ICAS. E-096 COVID status is related to clot burden during thrombectomy in acute stroke patients
ConclusionOf 230 patients included in this interim analysis across 24 centers in the United States, between 02/2021 and 01/2022, 16 patients had a history of COVID. Comparing COVID-positive to non-positive, patients with COVID were younger (median 66.5 years vs 71.5 years, p 0.042), and had more intracranial clot by weight (median 101.0 mg vs 42.0 mg, p 0.047). There was a trend toward COVID positive patients to have more clot volume (median 180 cc vs 77.5 cc p 0.08), suggesting the difference was a higher clot burden instead of more density to the thrombus. Conclusion193 patients were included in this interim analysis across 23 centers in the United States, between 02/2021 and 11/2021. For the EPHB1 SNP (rs13073658), Table 1 shows the numbers and proportions of patients with varying expressions of the SNP. While no patients 50 or older were homozygous for the SNP, 16% of those under 50 years old were. E-182 A multicentric experience for the use of flow diverter in the treatment of anterior communicating artery aneurysms
ConclusionFlow diverters appear to be a safe and effective treatment for anterior communicating artery aneurysms, presenting as an alternative strategy in the armamentarium of interventionalist. Mid-term results were favorable, and complication rates were low. E-190 Trends in admissions for intracranial dissections in the United States
ConclusionThe prevalence of uIADs among hospitalized patients is scarce, and only 2% of craniocervical dissection-related AIS is due to uIAD. Compared to IAs, patients were more likely younger and male, and uIAD more commonly led to acute ischemic stroke and motor deficits. The trend in age remained stable across the four years analyzed, while the proportion of females increased. There was no trend in the proportion of races among uIADs, however.Disclosures W. Influence of the Danish Co-morbidity Index Score on the Treatment and Outcomes of 2.5 Million Patients Admitted With Acute Myocardial Infarction in the United States
This study aimed to determine the association between the Danish Co-morbidity Index for Acute Myocardial Infarction (DANCAMI) and restricted DANCAMI (rDANCAMI) scores and clinical outcomes in patients hospitalized with AMI. Using the National Inpatient Sample, all AMI hospitalizations were stratified into four groups based on their DANCAMI and rDANCAMI score (0; 1 to 3; 4 to 5; ≥6). The primary outcome was all-cause mortality, whereas secondary outcomes were major adverse cardiovascular/cerebrovascular events, major bleeding, ischemic stroke, and receipt of coronary angiography or percutaneous coronary intervention.

Safety and Effectiveness of Direct Oral Anticoagulants Versus Warfarin for Treating Left Ventricular Thrombus
ConclusionsIn this diverse population-based cohort of patients, DOAC treatment for left ventricular thrombus appears to be as safe and effective as warfarin treatment. These findings support the use of DOACs for patients with left ventricular thrombus.
