How does culture influence the implementation of strategy training in stroke rehabilitation? A rapid ethnographic study of therapist perspectives in Taiwan and the United States
CONCLUSIONS: Therapists from both countries shared similar perspectives on the perceived advantages of strategy training, such as enhancing client empowerment and engagement, and the generalization of strategies. Long-Term Rehabilitation Utilization Pattern Among Stroke Patients Under the National Health Insurance Program
Conclusions Besides personal factors, geographic factors such as urban-rural gaps and number of therapists were significantly associated with the utilization of post-stroke rehabilitation care. Furthermore, the influence of certain factors, such as sex, stroke type, and copayment exemption type, changed over time.

CONCLUSION: Activity Measure Post-Acute Care "6-Clicks" Basic Mobility subscale scores at admission for acute care can predict admission to post-acute inpatient rehabilitation for stroke survivors in Taiwan. The Correlation Between the Length of Stay and Improvements in Post Acute Care Stroke Patients
To investigate whether the duration of hospitalization in post acute care(PAC) correlates to the patients ’ improvements since there’s no research evaluating the effects of PAC for stroke patients ever since the PAC plan inaugurated in Taiwan. PAC is a transitional care following acute medical stage for stroke patients and offering a more intensive rehabilitative program. According to National Healt h Insurance in Taiwan, only patients encountered acute stroke within one month, under relative stable medical condition and had potential for aggressive rehabilitation could transfer to PAC institution.

Determinants of Health-Related Quality of Life in Taiwanese Middle-aged Women Stroke Survivors.
CONCLUSIONS AND CLINICAL RELEVANCE: We found that female stroke survivors' level of stroke severity and negative appraisal-impact of stroke are significant predictors of the stroke survivor's quality of life. In addition to assisting women in their PF rehabilitation, rehabilitation nurses also should help to develop survivors' self-care confidence as a means to avoid the recurrence of stroke.
