Impact of obesity on acute complications of catheter ablation for cardiac arrhythmia
ConclusionIn this study, obesity did not have a significant impact on the incidence of periprocedural complications after CA for cardiac arrhythmia.

EvaLuation Using Cardiac Insertable Devices And TelephonE in Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (ELUCIDATE HCM): A prospective observational study on incidence of arrhythmias
ConclusionIn this first prospective study using an ICM, the arrhythmia burden in HCM patients yielded 30.0% AF and 23.3% NSVT.

Epidemiology and Clinical Characteristics of Atrial Fibrillation in Patients with Inherited Heart Diseases
ConclusionUp to one third of inherited heart disease patients will develop AF. While common general population risk factors are key in patients with HCM, genotype is independently associated with AF. Amongst inherited arrhythmia syndromes, AF is less common, though often occurs below the age of 50 years. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.

Diagnostic yield of asymptomatic arrhythmias detected by mobile cardiac outpatient telemetry and autotrigger looping event cardiac monitors
ConclusionsIn patients with conventional diagnostic monitoring indications, MCOT™ had significantly higher diagnostic yields for five asymptomatic arrhythmias compared to the AT‐LER.This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved

Ventricular Tachycardia Ablation in the Presence of Left Ventricular Thrombus: Safety and Efficacy
Conclusion: Initial data suggest ablation of VT in the presence of intracavitary thrombus is feasible, is associated with a similar success rate to historical studies in patients without thrombus, and has an acceptable risk of complications given the high risk nature of patients with ES. Further data is needed; however, the presence of a laminated thrombus should not necessarily preclude ablation in patients who have failed medical therapy for VT in whom ablation is otherwise indicated. This article is protected by copyright.
