E-164 Symptomatic developmental venous anomaly thrombosis associated with covid-19 infection
We describe a milder case of DVA thrombosis in the setting of COVID-19 infection presenting with unilateral hemiparesis requiring medical management alone. A 41-year-old female with hypertension who presented with left hemiparesis. Non-contrast computed tomography (CT) of head revealed linear calcifications in the right centrum semiovale consistent with DVA. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed an acute ischemic stroke in the right corona radiata adjacent to the vascular abnormality. E-166 The effect of covid-19 on treatment and outcomes following ischemic stroke: a national assessment
ConclusionThis study identified a relationship between COVID-19 diagnosis and worse outcomes for each metric assessed. Most notably, even when controlling for disease-related factors, patients with COVID-19 were significantly less likely to undergo mechanical thrombectomy. Further, COVID-19 was associated with increased in-hospital mortality and worsened discharge disposition, although the exact causal relationship of this is unclear. 200 Covid-19 and acute ischaemic strokes in CADASIL: a systematic review of the literature
Conclusions This systematic review describes the pattern of COVID-19 associated AIS in CADASIL. Such multiple infarcts, primarily affecting the internal borderzones, have been described in patients with Covid-19 without CADASIL. We discuss possible pathophysiological mechanisms, which may be extrapolated to patients with cerebral small vessel disease, including endothelial injury causing microvascular thrombosis and hypoperfusion due to cerebral blood flow dysautoregulation.

Cerebral venous thrombosis after COVID-19 vaccination: the role for endovascular treatment
Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is a unique cause of stroke. Population-based studies demonstrate an incidence of clinically significant CVT of 1.3–1.5 per 100 000 per year.1 2 This may be an underestimated incidence, as these studies were not based on review of imaging and the often benign nature of this entity may lead to underdiagnoses. E-004 Focal intracranial vasculopathy as a manifestation of COVID-19-associated acute ischemic stroke
ConclusionTo our knowledge, our case is the first to illustrate the potential for COVID-19 infection to present as a focal intracranial vasculopathy in an otherwise healthy young-patient, resulting in acute ischemic stroke without an underlying hypercoagulable state. Neurosurgery in times of a pandemic: a survey of neurosurgical services during the COVID-19 outbreak in the Veneto region in Italy.
CONCLUSIONS: This multicenter study describes the effects of a COVID-19 outbreak on neurosurgical activities in a vast region in Italy. Remodulation of neurosurgical activities has resulted in a significant reduction of elective and emergency surgeries compared to previous years. Most likely this is a combined result of cancellation of elective and postponable surgeries, increase of conservative management, increase in social restrictions, and in patients' fear of accessing hospitals.
