Targeting Myeloid-Specific Integrin α9β1 Improves Short and Long-Term Stroke Outcomes in Murine Models With Preexisting Comorbidities by Limiting Thrombosis And Inflammation.

tPA Mobilizes Immune Cells that Exacerbate Hemorrhagic Transformation in Stroke.

Iron-Deficiency and Estrogen Are Associated with Ischemic Stroke by Up-Regulating Transferrin to Induce Hypercoagulability.

A Critical Role for ERO1 α in Arterial Thrombosis and Ischemic Stroke
CONCLUSIONS: Our results suggest that ERO1α acts as a thiol oxidase for Ca2+ signaling molecules, STIM1 and SERCA2, and enhances cytosolic Ca2+ levels, promoting platelet activation and aggregation.
