Lyme neuroborreliosis-associated cerebrovascular events in the Finnish endemic area
Neuroborreliosis is a rare cause of cerebral vasculitis and stroke. The incidence of Lyme borreliosis in Finland has been increasing in the last 20  years, so we expect that Lyme neuroborreliosis–associated vasculitis can be a more common cause of stroke in the future.

Ischemic stroke associated with aneurysmal lenticulostriate vasculopathy and symmetric reversible basal ganglia lesions in COVID-19
We report the case of a young, healthy man with acute COVID-19 causing minimal systemic symptoms but leading to a highly unusual pattern of bilateral cerebral infarctions, transient symmetric hyperintensity of the basal ganglia on MRI FLAIR sequences, and bilateral aneurysmal lenticulostriate vasculopathy.

Lemierre's syndrome with stroke and stenosis of the internal carotid artery suggesting focal vasculitis
Here we present a patient with oropharynx infection by Fusobacterium necrophorum (F. necrophorum) who developed arterial wall inflammation and longitudinal stenosis of the right internal carotid artery and right hemispheric ischemic stroke. To our knowledge, longitudinal stenosis caused by F. necrophorum in Lemierre's syndrome has not previously been described.

Fatal ischemic stroke caused by cerebral small arteritis in a patient with giant cell arteritis
Giant cell arteritis (GCA) is characterized by autoimmune vasculitis involving large and medium-sized vessels [1,2]. Ischemic stroke is seen in 2.8 –7% of patients with GCA, and the prognosis of GCA patients after developing ischemic stroke is unfavorable, especially in patients with involvement of intracranial large arteries [1,3,4]. Here, we describe an autopsy case of GCA in which the patient presented with ischemic stroke related to multi ple intracranial large-artery stenoses, and ultimately fatal ischemic stroke.

Cerebral infarction due to Zika virus
We read with great interest the letter by Anne Landais and colleagues entitled, “ZIKA vasculitis: A new cause of stroke in children.” [1] The article presents a case of an acute left middle cerebral artery infarct in an eight-month old boy within a few days of symptomatic Zika infection. He had positive Zika PCR in serum followed a few months later by positive Zika IgG and negative Zika IgM. The authors report this as the first case of cerebral infarction associated with Zika infection, broadening the clinical neurologic spectrum of Zika infection.

ZIKA vasculitis: A new cause of stroke in children?
Viral infectious vasculitis is a cause of stroke in children. Zika virus infection is often asymptomatic. Neurological complications have however been reported: Guillain-Barr é, ADEM, meningoencephalitis, myelitis, microcephaly in the fetus of infected mothers. We discuss the case of a child presenting acute infection with ZIKV that was associated with a stroke. A 10-months-old boy without medical history presented after 2days of fever and cutaneous rash, conjunctivitis on day 5, a right hemiparesis on day 6.

Thrombolysis for acute stroke in patient with systemic lupus erythematosus: A case report
We present a case of 40-year-old woman with an acute stroke who received rt-PA. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed a large ischemic stroke in right hemisphere and a magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) revealed signs of vasculitis.

Significance of acute multiple infarcts in multiple cerebral circulations on initial diffusion weighted imaging in stroke patients
Conclusions: AMIMCC are not rare and mostly need MRI to be detected. Multiple and various etiologies are implicated, including cardioembolic diseases in half of them, but also hematologic disorders and angeitis.
