Correlates of participation six months after stroke in an Italian population: results from the RIPS (Post-Stroke Intensive Rehabilitation) Study
CONCLUSIONS: In our cohort of patients addressing postacute stroke rehabilitation, prestroke participation levels were on average good, while they were severely reduced six months after stroke for all the considered items except reading and making trips. High intensity gait training (HIGT) has strong research evidence for improved gait outcomes post-stroke; however, few studies address motor planning deficits within this framework. African Americans and Women Have Lower Functional Gains During Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation After Hemorrhagic Stroke
Conclusions The results of our study indicate that Functional Independence Measure efficiency was worse for African Americans and female patients with intracerebral hemorrhage. Future research should consider these racial and sex disparities and focus on providing targeted rehabilitation therapy.

Water-based therapeutic exercise in stroke: a scoping review
CONCLUSIONS: This scoping review highlights common parameters of WBTE interventions and provides an inventory of the differences in the treatment approaches utilized in this population. Opportunities for future work include the development of a standardized treatment protocol, qualitative or mixed methodology research, and greater inclusion of more individuals with more severe stroke-related impairments. Intra-rater and inter-rater reliability of pressure pain threshold assessment in stroke patients
CONCLUSIONS: PPT assessment with good or excellent reliability can be used in stroke patients. Neither of the two sides (affected or unaffected) affects PPT reliability, and intra-rater reliability is better than inter-rater reliability.
