Efficacy and safety of ticagrelor versus clopidogrel with different dosages in acute coronary syndrome patients with high GRACE and CRUSADE scores
CONCLUSIONS: In PCI patients with a high ischemic and bleeding risk, the ticagrelor antiplatelet strategy significantly reduced the MACCE rate without increasing the risk of major bleeding. Vascular procedures in patients with left ventricular assist devices: single-center experience
ConclusionPatients on LVAD support are a complex cohort with a high risk for perioperative complications. In a setting where device function and anticoagulation are monitored closely, vascular surgery in these patients is feasible with an acceptable perioperative risk.

Risk and prognostic factors in perinatal hemorrhagic stroke
Conclusion: Our findings showed that PHS was much more common in preterm infants. Mucosal bleeding and multiple lobes involvement were more common in term infants. PHS has high morbidity and mortality rates. Small for gestational age and mucosal bleeding were more common in infants who are dead.

Outcome of CentriMag ™ extracorporeal mechanical circulatory support use in critical cardiogenic shock (INTERMACS 1) patients
ConclusionOur results demonstrate an excellent outcome with the use of the CentriMag ™ device in this seriously ill population. Despite requiring multiple procedures, over 58% of patients were discharged from hospital with 5-year survival of 46%.
