Cholangiocarcinoma manifesting as non-bacterial thrombotic endocarditis in a young patient
A 41-year-old female with steroid-dependent rheumatoid arthritis and a recent (four months prior) cerebellar stroke presented with complaints of constant headache and right eye blindness of one day.  At the time of the cerebellar stroke, she had presented with persistent headaches, dizziness and gait instability. That workup, including hypercoagulability evaluation, was unremarkable apart from the radiographic abnormalities diagnosing her left medial cerebellar hemisphere infarct. She was disc harged with a plan for outpatient loop recorder placement and aspirin for secondary stroke prevention.

Fixation of acetabular Fractures. a novel method of Pre-Operative Omega Plate contouring.
CONCLUSIONS Pre-operative contouring of an Omega plate based on a post-injury CT scan of the uninjured half of the pelvis is over 80% accurate or almost accurate. The multi-functional 3.5-mm pelvic plate Omega allows us to stabilise complicated fractures of the superior ramus of the pubic bone, anterior acetabular column or quadrilateral plate as well as fractures above the linea arcuata or uncomplicated fractures of the posterior column. Hip osteoarthritis and the risk of all‐cause and disease‐specific mortality in older women: Population‐based cohort study
Conclusion RHOA was associated with an increased risk of all‐cause and CVD mortality among older white women followed for 16 years. Dissemination of evidence‐based physical activity and self‐management interventions for hip OA in community and clinical settings can improve physical function and might also contribute to lower mortality. Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis (DISH) and Impaired Physical Function: The Rancho Bernardo Study
