Distinct cardiovascular and cancer burdens associated with social position, work environment and unemployment: a cross-sectional and retrospective study in a large population-based French cohort
Conclusions Social position, work environment and unemployment are associated with distinct cardiovascular and cancerous diseases that could add up during lifetime, they should therefore be considered all together in any preventive strategy.

Sex Difference of Radiation Response in Occupational and Accidental Exposure
Conclusion and Outlook This review summarizes the data from major human studies on the health risks of radiation exposure and shows that sex can potentially influence the prolonged response to radiation exposure (Figure 1 and Tables 1, 2). These data suggest that long-term radiosensitivity in females is higher than that in males who receive a comparable dose of radiation. Potatoes and risk of chronic disease: a systematic review and dose –response meta-analysis
ConclusionTotal potato consumption is not related to risk for many chronic diseases but could pose a small increase in risk for T2D if consumed boiled. A clear risk relation was found between French-fries consumption and risk of T2D and hypertension. For several outcomes, the impact of different preparation procedures could not be assessed.
