Ischemic stroke and ST-elevation myocardial infarction revealing infective endocarditis.

A 68-year-old woman had extended right hepatectomy for hilar cholangiocarcinoma. Unfortunately, she had multiple postoperative complications and had to be transferred to the Intensive Care Unit. A Case of Multiple Recurrent Ischemic Stroke in a Patient with Cholangiocarcinoma and Initiation of Anticoagulation Therapy for Secondary Stroke Prevention (P4.342)
CONCLUSIONS: Initiation of anticoagulation therapy and the optimal medications for secondary stroke prevention in cancer associated stroke remain controversial.
