Digoxin protects against intervertebral disc degeneration via TNF/NF- κB and LRP4 signaling
ConclusionThese findings suggest that digoxin may be a potential therapeutic agent for intervertebral disc degeneration through anti-catabolism and pro-anabolism. Digoxin might also work as an alternative for other inflammation-related diseases.

Suppression of microglial Ccl2 reduces neuropathic pain associated with chronic spinal compression
ConclusionDisc microglia expressing high levels of Ccl2 may contribute to chronic spinal compression and SCI-associated pain. Therapeutically targeting Ccl2 in microglia could offer a potential avenue for treating chronic spinal compression and SCI-associated pain.

Dihydroartemisinin derivative DC32 inhibits inflammatory response in osteoarthritic synovium through regulating Nrf2/NF- κB pathway.

Allopurinol-induced Sweet's syndrome.
We describe the case of an 87-year-old woman with hyperuricemia who developed classic Sweet's syndrome manifestations 8 days after being treated with allopurinol. Patient's symptoms included fever, painful edema in the hands and lower limbs with non-pruritic erythematous plaques topped by pus-filled skin blisters, right eye conjunctivitis, splenomegaly and joint pain.
