Expression of glucose transporter-1 in follicular lymphoma affected tumor-infiltrating immunocytes and was related to progression of disease within 24 months
CONCLUSION: Tumor cells overexpressing GLUT1 could domesticate immunocytes to form an immunosuppressive TME, which promotes occurrence of POD24 and gradually activates PI3K/ Akt /mTOR pathway of tumor cells in FL.SIGNIFICANCE: Tumor cells overexpressing GLUT1 could domesticate immunocytes to form an immunosuppressive microenvironment, which in turn promoted the growth of tumor cells and was related to the progression of disease within 24 months in FL. Suppressive immunocytes gradually activated PI3K/ Akt /mTOR pathway of tumor cells in later stage. Distinguishing spatial features of immunocytes could well predict POD24 occ...

Expression of TCF3 in Burkitt's Lymphoma and Its Proliferative Effect and Prognostic Significance
CONCLUSION: There are mutation and abnormal expression of TCF3 in patients with BL. Patients with TCF3 mutations have low remission rate and poor prognosis.PMID:36208246 | DOI:10.19746/j.cnki.issn.1009-2137.2022.05.020

iRGD-modified exosomes-delivered BCL6 siRNA inhibit the progression of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma
Clinical applications of siRNA therapeutics have been limited by the immunogenicity of the siRNA and low efficiency of siRNA delivery to target cells. Recently, evidence have shown that exosomes, endogenous nano-vesicles, can deliver siRNA to the tumor tissues in mice. Here, to reduce immunogenicity, we selected immature dendritic cells (DCs) to produce exosomes. In addition, tumor targeting was achieved by engineering the DCs to express exosomal membrane protein (Lamp2b), fused to av integrin-specific iRGD peptide (CRGDKGPDC). Next, iRGD targeted exosomes (iRGD-Exo) were isolated from the transfected DCs, and then the iso...

BCL11A Facilitates Cell Proliferation and Metastasis in Neuroblastoma via Regulating the PI3K/Akt Signaling Pathway
CONCLUSION: As a prognostic indicator of survival in NB patients, BCL11A might serve as a potential therapeutic target. BCL11A played a regulatory role in cell proliferation, invasion and migration in NB,which may be through the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and induce EMT.PMID:35909289 | DOI:10.2174/1568009622666220728123748

A novel protein encoded by circHNRNPU promotes multiple myeloma progression by regulating the bone marrow microenvironment and alternative splicing
CONCLUSION: Our findings demonstrate that circHNRNPU_603aa is a promising diagnostic and therapeutic marker in both MM cells and BM niche.PMID:35260179 | DOI:10.1186/s13046-022-02276-7
