Role of long noncoding RNA SNHG3 in regulating proliferation, migration and invasion of cervical cancer SiHa cells
Nan Fang Yi Ke Da Xue Xue Bao. 2021 Jun 20;41(6):931-936. doi: 10.12122/j.issn.1673-4254.2021.06.17.ABSTRACTOBJECTIVE: To investigate the regulatory role of the long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) small nucleolar host gene 3 (SNHG3) in proliferation, migration and invasion of human cervical cancer cell line SiHa.OBJECTIVE: Array data were retrieved from GEO database to analyze the expression levels of SNHG3 in cervical cancer and adjacent normal tissues. SiHa cells were transfected with a small interfering RNA (siRNA) targeting SNHG3, and the changes in the transcriptional levels of lncRNA SNHG3 and the epithelial-mesenchymal tra...

Effect of RbAp48 knockdown on migration and invasion of human cervical cancer cell line MS751 in vitro.
CONCLUSION: Knockdown of RbAp48 can significantly inhibit epithelial-mesenchymal transition and suppress the migration and invasion of cervical cancer cell line MS751, the mechanism of which may involve the down-regulation of Snail and Twist expressions. Cisplatin inhibits proliferation of cervical carcinoma cell line by up-regulating Stat1 expression.
CONCLUSION: The expression of Stat1 is associated with DDP sensitivity in cervical cancer cells, and Stat1 silencing can increase the sensitivity to DDP and c-Myc expression of the cells. PMID: 25613616 [PubMed - in process]
